Lavrov: Russia insists on unacceptability of Ukraine's involvement in NATO

Russia's conditions in the framework of the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine include the rejection of Kiev's accession to NATO, the termination of the expansion of the alliance. This was announced on July 28 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the Territory of Meanings forum.
"We insist on what is our legitimate demand, namely— to ensure our security: no involvement of Ukraine in NATO, no expansion of NATO at all. <...> And, of course, recognition of the realities that are enshrined in our Constitution," TASS quoted Lavrov as saying.
