A passenger on an Easyjet flight who threatened to detonate a bomb in front of US President Donald Trump was detained in the UK. This was reported by The Sun newspaper on July 27, citing eyewitnesses to the incident.

"Passengers teamed up to deal with a man who shouted that he allegedly had a "bomb" during an Easyjet flight to Scotland, before "declaring that he wanted to send a message to Trump," the publication said.

It is noted that the incident occurred during an emergency landing in Glasgow. The threatening man was detained by local police.

Earlier, on June 12, police detained a man shouting about a bomb on board an airplane at the Portuguese Sa Carneiro International Airport in Porto. An Italian citizen was detained after boarding a passenger liner.
