Russian military "Lancet" destroyed an AFU tank near Seversk

The Russian military using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "Lancet" destroyed a Ukrainian T-72 tank near the village of Seversk in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on Saturday, July 26, by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry noted that the equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) provided fire support to the defending units. The combat group of the 346th separate Special forces Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces found the target and hit it with the first strike.

According to the Ministry, the enemy units, having lost fire support, were blocked and destroyed, which allowed the Russian Armed Forces to continue their further advance.

The ease of operation and adaptability of the new UAV complexes will help change the situation on the line of combat contact.

On the same day, a UAV crew from the 2nd Guards Artillery Brigade of the 3rd Combined Arms Army of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed a D-30 howitzer belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the northern direction of the SVR. It was noted that the group's unmanned units also conduct reconnaissance of enemy targets and destroy them, including in strongholds and combat positions.
