Russian synchronized swimmers Olesya Platonova and Alexander Maltsev became silver medalists in the free mixed duet program at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. For their performance on July 25, the Russian couple received 323.4438 points.

The winners of the tournament were Spanish athletes Dennis Gonzalez-Boneu and Iris Tio Casas (323.8563 points). The bronze medals will be taken away by Britons Isabelle Thorpe and Ranju Tomblin (322,0583).
