Lukashenko advised not to anger him and prevent deaths in animal husbandry.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko declared the inadmissibility of deaths in animal husbandry and warned officials about strict control over this area. This was announced on Thursday, July 24, according to the BelTA news agency.
Addressing the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic, Yuri Gorlov, Lukashenko stressed that livestock deaths are an unacceptable phenomenon that must be completely eliminated. He recalled that such problems were solved back in Soviet times, when specialized complexes for fattening livestock were being built.
The President noted that if farms cannot cope with the safety of young animals, they must be transferred to other farms. According to him, it is necessary to pay for the transfer of livestock in order to provide the peasants with wages.
"God forbid you make me angry in this regard! It won't seem enough. I'm not going to tell you 10 times. The case is unacceptable. In Soviet times, this problem was already solved...>The main indicator is the death of livestock. Whatever you want, you won't convince me here that you have a normal case, as you write it. Which one is over-planned, what are the plans?!" — Lukashenka asked the question.
On July 18, Lukashenko demanded that officials avoid potato shortages in the country. He also stressed that it is necessary to organize work in agricultural enterprises so that there is not a single comment and to avoid "unpleasant conversations" following the harvest.
