Putin gave permission to raise the flag on the nuclear-powered ship Knyaz Pozharsky

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, July 24, took part in the flag-raising ceremony on the nuclear submarine Prince Pozharsky in Severodvinsk.

"Permission granted!" said the Russian leader, giving the command to raise the flag.

The moment of raising the flag to the Russian national anthem marked the inclusion of the nuclear-powered vessel in the country's Navy. Before that, the President listened to brief reports and made an introductory speech to the participants of the ceremony.

Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Alexander Moiseev reported to the head of state that the flag-raising ceremony had been completed.
