A wanted Russian was deported from Turkey for embezzling 600 million rubles.
A Russian man was deported from Turkey, who was wanted for embezzlement of about 600 million rubles received as a result of fraud in housing construction. This was announced on July 24 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk.
"Today, at Istanbul airport, representatives of the competent Turkish authorities handed over to the staff of the Interpol National Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia a citizen of the Russian Federation who was on the international wanted list," Volk is quoted as saying on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
It is specified that in 2012-2017, the attacker created an organized group to carry out fraud and embezzlement of money received from participants in the shared-equity construction of residential complexes, including in Moscow and Volgograd.
