Alexander Ershov, a resident of St. Petersburg, who attacked two women with bow arrows at the factory, has been arrested. This was announced on July 24 by the press service of the city prosecutor's office.
The man is charged under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder of two persons"). It is clarified that he did not carry out the murder intent to the end, including thanks to the timely medical care provided to the women.
"The court granted the investigator's request and chose a preventive measure in the form of detention against the accused," the Telegram channel says.
Ershov will be under arrest until September 22 of this year.
Earlier, on July 23, a source from Izvestia reported that a man broke into a factory entrance, came into conflict with an employee and shot her twice with an arrow. After that, he fired three arrows at another employee of the company. Both women are in serious condition.
