The International Forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future" will be held in Moscow

From August 7 to 17, 2025, the Skolkovo Innovation Center will host the International Forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future", dedicated to unmanned aerial systems, which will showcase key achievements of the Russian industry of unmanned and robotic systems. The Forum is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Moscow Government, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the National Technology Initiative (NTI) platform, University 2035 and the NTI Project Support Fund, the operator is the Roscongress Foundation.

The event is being held on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation on the development of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

"We pay a lot of attention to the development of self-driving. There has been a big breakthrough in this area in Russia recently, and there is no doubt that there is a good movement in robotics in general and in unmanned vehicles in particular. At the beginning of the year, a meeting on the development of UAS was held in Tolyatti and an appropriate decision was made there to support this area of activity. There are a lot of interesting, creative ideas and proposals that are already being implemented, and new businesses are emerging. Russian products attract the attention not only of consumers of these technologies in Russia, but also abroad. Of course, it is very important to develop unmanned and robotic solutions to solve a range of existing problems both within the framework of environmental protection and other equally important areas," said President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the Forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age", which was held in Moscow on July 2-3, 2025. The event was organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Roscongress Foundation.

To develop this strategic course, events are planned on the territory of the Skolkovo Innovation Center within the framework of the International Forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future", united by the common logic of the development of the Russian drone sphere: a business program, a design and educational intensive "Archipelago 2025", a large-scale exhibition of drones and robotic systems for agriculture, forestry, construction, transport, energy, trade and, of course, the urban environment.

As part of the business program, experts will discuss key topics of industry development, including the development of new technologies, building cooperation and mass production, introducing robotic systems into the economy, creating the necessary infrastructure and training personnel.

There will also be an annual design and educational intensive for individual participants, startups, regions, universities and companies that develop projects in the field of new technologies and industries "Archipelago" of the National Technology Initiative platform. And at international competitions on unmanned aircraft systems, schoolchildren, students and professionals will compete in drone control, autonomous flights and cargo delivery.

The forum will bring together more than a thousand participating companies. It will be a major event for developers, manufacturers, operators, scientists, investors, regulators and all those interested in unmanned technologies and robots.
