One person was injured in a collision between two motorboats on Lake Teletskoye in the Altai Republic. This was announced on July 24 by the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia in its Telegram channel.

"Two motorboats collided on Lake Teletskoye in the village of Artybash in the Turochak district of the Altai Republic," the report said.

As noted by the agency, the victim was hospitalized, he received the necessary medical care.

A pre-investigation check is currently underway on the grounds of a crime under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic safety and operation rules for inland waterway transport").

Earlier, on September 21, 2024, in Kazan, a man died as a result of a collision of a motorboat with a pier. An inspection was carried out on the fact of violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of water transport.
