Karasin highly appreciated the chances of holding the fourth round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine

The chances that there will be the next rounds of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations are pretty good, Grigory Karasin, head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, told Izvestia.

Vladimir Medinsky summed up the results of the meeting

"I think the chances are pretty good that there will be further rounds of negotiations," he said.

According to him, these rounds create an atmosphere of dialogue, and it should be appreciated, because only through it, sooner or later, will it be possible to reach a solution to rather complex problems related to the goals of the SVR, the future situation in the new territories, and relations with Ukraine.

On July 23, Moscow and Kiev held the third round of talks in Istanbul.
