Putin signed a law on tax relief when donating housing to relatives
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on halving the state fee for notarization of contracts for the donation of real estate to family members and close relatives. The relevant document was published on July 23 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
It clarifies that close relatives include spouses, parents and children, including adoptive parents and adopted children, grandfathers, grandmothers and grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
Parents of disabled children are also exempt from state duty when submitting applications to the courts on issues of limitation or deprivation of legal capacity. The same measure applies to appeals to the court related to the disposal of income of minors.
Earlier in the day, Putin, during a meeting with members of the government, supported a proposal to exempt payments from taxation to participants in the Zemsky Trainer program. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that such specialists should be exempt from tax on payments by analogy with other similar programs.
