The State Duma (DG) has more than 1,100 draft laws under consideration, and the intensive work of the lower house of parliament will continue in the autumn session. This was announced on July 23 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.

"This means that the groundwork for the autumn session is large and significant, and I am sure that the work will continue as intensively and with the same quality," Putin said.

He noted that during the spring session, the State Duma adopted more than 300 bills. According to the head of state, among the approved documents, those related to state construction were in the first place. Other bills were devoted to economic policy, budget, finance and taxes.

In addition, Volodin also added that this year the State Duma adopted 15 laws dedicated to solving the problems of participants in a special military operation (SVO).

On July 2, Putin discussed with Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivileva the social security of military personnel who were injured during their military service and remained in military service. Tsivileva noted that the wounded soldiers receive the latest technical equipment, undergo rehabilitation, and receive additional payments from the social fund.
