Users of the new MAX messenger will be able to improve their digital literacy and gain new knowledge on fraud protection through the GigaChat chatbot.

To get information, they can enter one of three programmed questions into the chatbot: "How do I understand what a scammer is writing to you?", "How to deal with scammers?", "What should I do if I informed the scammers of my card details, SMS password?". Tips and recommendations will explain how to avoid fraudsters' tricks and not let yourself be deceived.

"Scammers are constantly inventing new ways to compromise the user. Not only technology helps to combat this, but also an integrated approach, and raising people's awareness of new ways of fraud is one of the key points here," Tamara Chechetkina, head of marketing at VK Information Security, said on July 23.

On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted at a meeting with members of the Russian government that the fight against cybercriminals remains one of the key tasks. He added that the head of the Ministry of Finance, Maksut Shadaev, offers a number of new services to solve such problems.

All the important news is on our channel in the MAX messenger.
