The period of participation in a special military operation (SVO) will not be counted towards the validity period of the results of the Unified State Exam (USE). The relevant law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on July 23.

"The validity period of the results of the unified state exam for admission to bachelor's and specialist's degree programs <...> is suspended for the duration of their participation in a special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Luhansk People's Republic, the Zaporizhia region and the Kherson region," the document says, published on the official Internet portal. legal information.
