Information about illegal guest houses will be blocked in Crimea

In Crimea and Sevastopol, advertising of guest houses that have not passed the mandatory classification will be banned from the fall of 2025. This was announced on Wednesday, July 23, according to the press service of the Republican Ministry of Resorts.

The federal law on private tourist accommodation facilities comes into force on September 1. It says that private residential buildings will be given the status of "guest houses" if they meet the established requirements.

Next, the authorities will create a register of accommodation facilities and classify them. If the guest house is not included in the list, then online aggregators will have to remove information about it from services and advertising platforms.

The provisions on administrative responsibility for violation of these requirements will become effective on September 6, writes IA SevastopolMedia.
