A light-engine plane crashed on a highway in the municipality of Azzano Mella in Italy. Upon impact with the ground, the aircraft exploded. This was announced on July 22 by Sky TG24 TV channel.

"The plane crashed in Azzano Mella, in the province of Brescia, two people on board were killed," the publication says.

The aircraft crashed near the interchange of the motorway connecting A4 and A21. The incident is under investigation. It is specified that parts of the aircraft damaged some vehicles, but the motorists themselves were not injured.

Earlier, on July 13, it was reported that a small plane crashed at Southend Airport in the southeastern United Kingdom immediately after takeoff. It is specified that the aircraft was a medical one. Information about the victims of the plane crash and its causes has not been received.
