The Kremlin pointed to the theft of money received by Ukraine for weapons

A significant part of the funds received by Ukraine for the purchase of weapons from the United States and European countries were stolen. This was announced on July 23 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"It is obvious that a significant part of the money that Ukraine received for weapons was stolen. There is a lot of corruption in the country, that is, the money of American taxpayers and European taxpayers was largely stolen in Ukraine," he said during a briefing.

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation called corruption a hot topic for Kiev.
