The Financial Literacy Marathon will be held in Zaryadye Park in August
In the capital, as part of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" financial literacy marathon will be held from August 8 to 24. This was reported on the city portal on July 23. mos.ru .
"Over the course of the 17 days of August, Zaryadye Park will host more than 350 diverse events, from interactive games, workshops and quizzes to financial experiments, film lectures and humorous monologues," said Elena Zyabbarova, Minister of the Moscow government and head of the capital's finance department.
She stressed that the program of the event was designed taking into account the interests of all age groups. Young people are especially expected as guests. The skills acquired during the event can later be used to build your future and develop the capital.
A multi-format program of quizzes, workshops and interactive tasks was prepared for the youngest visitors from six to 10 years old.
"Young guests in the company of peers, experts and teachers will learn what money is and how to use it correctly, learn how to plan purchases, will be able to set their first financial goals in life and achieve them," the organizers said.
Children from 11 to 14 years old will discuss digital and tax literacy, financial security, fraud, banking products and services in the framework of thematic classes at the marathon. Board games and quizzes will also be available for them. Guests will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge and will be able to prove themselves individually or as part of a team.
"Young people and adult visitors will meet not only practicing experts from the financial sector, but also representatives of other professions, media personalities and popular bloggers. Using examples from their practice and personal lives, they will show that finance is not only a budget, income and expenses, but also our habits, attitudes, desires and life goals," the publication says.
The marathon will also include special theme days dedicated to a specific topic or area of financial literacy. For example, among them there will be days of savings and investments, long-term planning, financial security, responsible borrowing and entrepreneurship, the portal says.
In addition to gaining new knowledge, visitors to the event will enjoy entertainment and games, and robots will meet the guests.
"Android robots will tell visitors the schedule of events, talk about finances and the family budget. A robot artist will draw a portrait of a financially literate person of the future, and robot bartenders will treat you to drinks," the portal announced.
All marathon events will be free of charge, but pre-registration is required to attend. Prizes and souvenirs will be prepared for the most active participants.
On July 22, it was reported that a large-scale forum-festival was being held within the framework of the Summer in Moscow project. From August 1 to September 14, dozens of venues will host cultural, sports, educational and other events dedicated to the development of one of the most modern megacities in the world.
