The female body often needs support, so women are often prescribed vitamins and macronutrients. On how to support women's health, July 23, "Gazeta.Ru" was told by the obstetrician-gynecologist of the Center for Reproductive Health "SM Clinic" Idilia Orfanova.

The doctor noted that vitamin A can be useful for women because it promotes cell regeneration, slows down the aging process, improves eyesight, and also has a positive effect on the condition of skin and hair.

To maintain immunity and fight diseases, according to the gynecologist, it is worth taking vitamins C and D. It is worth paying attention to vitamin E. It participates in the ovulation process and ensures the full maturation of eggs.

According to the doctor, it is important to get folic acid (vitamin B9). Its deficiency can lead to malformations of the neural tube in the fetus.

At the same time, Orphanova recommended seeking help from specialists who can prescribe the necessary vitamins.

"Properly selected vitamins help not only preserve beauty and youth, but also strengthen health, improve well-being and quality of life. The main thing is not to self—medicate, but to choose medications after consulting with a doctor," the specialist explained.

Earlier, on July 19, Tatiana Berezhkova, a leading obstetrician-gynecologist at the Women's Doctor Reproductive Health Clinic, named products that are mandatory for consumption during menopause. During this period, a woman's body needs calcium, vitamins B and D, magnesium and phosphorus.

At the same time, according to the expert, it is important to avoid excessive salt intake, and also try to minimize or completely eliminate the use of alcoholic beverages, as they have a negative effect on bone tissue.
