On July 22, the vocalist of the American metal band Disturbed, David Draiman, commented on the death of British rock musician and founder of the Black Sabbath band Ozzy Osbourne (real name - John Michael Osbourne).

"Goodbye, my dear teacher... a father to all of us... my friend. I love you, Ozzy Osbourne, and I will miss you terribly," he wrote on the Instagram social network (owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

The death of the musician was announced on July 22 by the Sky News channel. It is specified that the singer had Parkinson's disease. In addition, he has suffered from other health problems in recent years, including complications from injuries sustained in a fall in 2019.

On the same day, British singer and songwriter Elton John wrote a farewell post on Instagram and expressed his condolences to the Osborne family.

On July 5, Osbourne, along with other members of the rock band Black Sabbath, gave his last concert in Birmingham. The band featured guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward. Domestic performers also spoke about their emotions from the farewell concert.
