Stoloto summed up the results of the half-year

More than 35.5 billion rubles were drawn in the Stoloto state lotteries in the first half of 2025, 695 Russians won from 1 million rubles or more, the press service of the distributor of the All-Russian state lotteries reported.

The winner of the New Year's Russian Lotto lottery became the winner of the largest prize: on January 1, 2025, the 1604th edition brought 1,000,000 200 rubles to a resident of the Sakhalin Region. In the 1604th edition of the Russian Lotto, the New Year's Billion, an absolute record was set for the total amount of winnings in one draw among Russian state lotteries: 3,652,173,987 rubles were drawn among the participants, 11,920,044 tickets won.

A super prize of 307,010,350 rubles in June 2025 was won by a resident of the Tambov Region in the 10,854th draw of the 4 out of 20 Sportloto lottery. This win was the sixth largest among the largest super prizes drawn in this lottery.

In addition, in the first half of this year, record super prizes were drawn in two lotteries from Stoloto: 285,280,449 rubles in the Okhota lottery and 144,140,520 rubles in the Russian Lotto Fun lottery.

To date, 19 out of 20, or 95% of the winners with the largest winnings in the first half of 2025, have already applied to the Stoloto lottery center in Moscow and registered their winnings. Only the winner of the Rapido Pro lottery from the Krasnoyarsk Territory has not applied for a win yet.

The largest number of winners starting from 1 million rubles in the period from January 1 to June 30, 2025 were registered in Moscow (141 people), St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region (44 people) and the Krasnodar Territory (40 people). In the Republic of Bashkortostan, in the first half of this year, 27 people won more than a million rubles in the Sportloto lottery, 23 in the Sverdlovsk Region, 21 in the Perm Region, 20 in the Khanty—Mansi Autonomous Okrug, 19 in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 17 in each of the Novosibirsk and Chelyabinsk regions. Thanks to Stoloto, 13 new lottery millionaires appeared in the Tyumen, Rostov, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod Regions and the Republic of Tatarstan in the first half of 2025, 11 in the Irkutsk and Samara regions, and 10 in the Vologda and Omsk regions. Also, 8 people became lottery millionaires in Sakhalin, Volgograd, Kirov, Kurgan and Saratov regions.

In terms of total winnings, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Krasnodar Krai are also among the leaders. In addition, the Sakhalin and Sverdlovsk regions, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chelyabinsk Region, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra entered the top 10 regions according to this criterion.

According to Russian law, the payment of winnings in the All-Russian state lottery, organized by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, is made within 180 days from the date of applying for winnings. The deadline for payment of winnings in instant lotteries is no more than 30 days after presentation of the lottery ticket.

Since 2014, all lotteries in Russia have been state—owned, organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Sports. They are conducted under the state supervision of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. State lotteries distributed by Stoloto are a significant source of replenishment of budgets at various levels of the Russian Federation in order to finance socially significant facilities and events.
