The procedure for awarding the title of "Labor Veteran" and support measures are established at the regional level. As Balynin noted, veterans of labor are usually provided with monthly payments, compensation for part of the cost of housing and communal services, firewood or fuel for houses without heating, free manufacture and repair of dentures, preferential travel and other support measures.

The title is awarded if you have at least 25 years of work experience for men and 20 years for women (or seniority for retirement), as well as awards, honorary titles or work underage during the Great Patriotic War (with 40/35 years of experience). You can apply through the portal of public services, MFC, social protection authorities or regional online services.
