A criminal case on the torture of four young children has been initiated against a resident of Lysva, Perm Krai. This was reported on July 22 on the official website of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
"In the investigative department for the city of Lysva of the SU IC of Russia for the Perm Territory, a criminal case has been initiated and is being investigated against a local resident suspected of committing a crime under paragraphs "a", "d", Part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code ("Torture of obviously helpless minors")," — it says in the article.
According to the agency, between December 2024 and April 2025, the man regularly beat his four children aged four, eight, nine and 11 years. The minors were removed from their families and sent to a specialized center for children left without parental care. Law enforcement agencies are checking all the circumstances of the crime.
On June 24, a criminal case was opened into the attempted murder of a two-year-old child at Sheremetyevo Airport. According to the investigation, a man in a state of drug intoxication grabbed the boy and forcefully threw him to the floor. The boy was hospitalized, he was in serious condition. A criminal case has been opened into the incident. The attacker was charged with attempted murder, but he could not explain the reason for his actions. The child was discharged from the hospital on July 11.
