Ski trail in Severomorsk to be expanded

A ski trail will be improved and expanded in Severomorsk, Murmansk region. It is very popular among professionals and amateurs. Their wishes are taken into account when working.

According to Bi-port news agency, with reference to the head of BUT Vladimir Evmenkov, the improvement of the highway has already begun. The work is carried out by specialists from the budgetary institutions "Administrative, Economic and Transport Services" and "Severomorskvodokanal".

Due to the expansion of the route, the finishing distance will be able to be moved from the territory of the cadet corps to the main route. According to Evmenkov, there is enough space for both starting and finishing athletes.

Lanterns were installed along the sports facility five years ago as part of a federal program. The out-of-order lighting sources will now be repaired. Next year, the track will be filled out to make it more convenient.

Earlier it was reported that in Monchegorsk, the contractor disrupted the timing of one of the stages of the improvement of the Brovtsev Park. These conclusions were reached by the city prosecutor's office after checking the project documents. The work, in particular, was funded from the federal budget. The landscaping took place in three stages. The prosecutor's office found that for some reason, already at the first stage, the executor of the municipal contract was behind schedule.
