The third round of Russian-Ukrainian talks will be devoted to discussing the peace memoranda that the parties have prepared, as well as technical and humanitarian issues. Alexey Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, expressed this opinion on Monday, July 21.

Earlier, the Independent Turk newspaper wrote that the third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul could take place on July 23 or 24.

"I think they will mainly discuss technical issues, humanitarian issues, and they will probably discuss the memoranda that were prepared in the second round," Chepa said in an interview. Lenta.Ru .

He noted that the outcome of the meeting is difficult to predict, because at the moment there is not even an understanding who will lead the Ukrainian delegation after the resignation of Rustem Umerov from the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. Chepa also expressed hope that the exchanges of prisoners, wounded and bodies of the dead with Ukraine will continue.

"You know that there is such information, unfortunately, that the Ukrainian side is burning the bodies in the crematorium. This suggests that they are not seeking any kind of humanitarian exchange, so they delayed this process," said Chepa.

Earlier, the Independent turk reported that a new meeting of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul would be held on July 23 or 24, RT reports.

Representatives of Russia and Ukraine will discuss a limited range of issues, including humanitarian aid, prisoner exchange, infrastructure security and border protection measures. 360.ru .
