The Ministry of Transport told about the current work of Russian airports
All airports in Russia, except Kaluga, currently accept and send flights. This was announced on July 1 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Transport of Russia.
"Currently, with the exception of Kaluga, all Russian airports accept and send flights," the report says.
The Russian Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency, together with airlines and airports, are working to ensure that planes start flying as soon as possible in accordance with the regular flight schedule.
According to the agency, over the past weekend, over 14 thousand passengers were accommodated in hotels. They are given vouchers for food and drinks for free within the framework of federal aviation regulations. To receive them, you must contact the carrier's representative at the airport.
"Airlines and airports continue to operate in an enhanced mode to return to their regular schedule as soon as possible," the Ministry of Transport said.
Earlier in the day, it was reported about the resumption of reception and release of aircraft without restrictions at Sheremetyevo Airport. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, 118 flights were canceled at the airports of the Moscow region and Pulkovo, and 203 flights were delayed for more than two hours.
