Sobyanin spoke about helping innovative industries

Moscow authorities are helping local companies to expand and modernize the production of innovative products, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. According to him, since 2019, about 9.8 thousand companies have received financial support in the amount of more than 20.5 billion rubles through the i.moscow platform.

Entrepreneurs can take advantage of grants for the purchase of equipment, patenting of inventions and utility models, as well as compensation for the cost of pilot testing of developments, Sobyanin noted in the Telegram channel.

"We are helping companies in the capital to expand and modernize the production of innovative products," Sobyanin stressed. In particular, the city has allocated more than 300 grants for innovation testing, he said. Funds from more than 920 grants were allocated for the purchase of equipment and the development of activities.

Among the companies that have already received support through the i.moscow platform are an analytical center specializing in the analysis of water, soil and air, creators of energy storage systems, designers of LED lighting and optics.
