Two cars caught fire on the Novorossiysk — Kerch highway in the Krasnodar Territory after an accident, two people were injured. This was announced on July 21 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
"In the Temryuk district, on the Novorossiysk—Kerch highway, a Renault Magnum driver collided with a forward-running VAZ 2108. Both cars caught fire from the impact," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
The Interior Ministry stressed that two people were injured in the incident. An investigation is underway into the incident.
On the same day, the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that a shift bus had left the road and overturned in Yakutia. Later, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said that as a result of the incident, 13 people were killed and 20 injured. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.
