Zakharova announced that she was working on a joint track with rapper Ptakha.

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, spoke at the VK fest on July 19 about her work with rapper David Nureyev, known as Ptakha.

"This is really a collaboration with a Bird. <...> About two weeks ago, there was already a preliminary demo," TASS quoted her as saying.

Zakharova called such a creative collaboration "unexpected", since, according to her, the texts she wrote from the point of view of musical presentation are more traditional and lyrical than rap recitative.

She stressed that the students would evaluate the results of the tandem's work. The diplomat did not disclose the release date.

Zakharova announced on May 9 that during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) in Vienna, a song based on her poems was included. The song performed by Elena Sever was called "Bring back the memory."
