The majority of Germans are against a possible ban on the AfD party
More than 52% of Germans surveyed opposed a possible ban on the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. This was reported on July 19 by the Tagesspiegel newspaper, citing a survey by the Allensbach Institute for the Study of Public Opinion.

The adopted resolution of the SPD calls on the federal and land authorities to collect the necessary materials to file a lawsuit with the Federal Constitutional Court to declare the AfD unconstitutional.
