Maltsev wins gold at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore
Russian synchronized swimmer Alexander Maltsev won the gold medal in the solo technical program at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore on July 19.
Maltsev showed the best result, scoring 251.7133 points. The second place was taken by Spaniard Dennis Gonzalez Boneu with a score of 241.1667 points, the third was Mexican Diego Villalobos Carrillo, who scored 238.1600 points.
Maltsev became the first Russian athlete to win gold at the current World Championships in Singapore. For the 30-year-old athlete, this gold medal was the fifth at the World Championships. He has also won six European Championships.
