The crews of the Su-25 assault aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) destroyed the personnel and a stronghold of the Military Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on July 19 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is specified that the target was in the area of responsibility of the Vostok group of forces. There were paired rocket launches from low altitudes. After using aviation weapons, the crews released heat traps and performed a maneuver, and then returned safely to the airfield.

"Today, we carried out the task of defeating the enemy's stronghold and manpower...> The enemy's manpower has been hit. We took off, flew along the route, launched a tow, exited the attack and landed at our own airfield," said the pilot of the Su—25 with the call sign Iskra.
