The UK has expanded the anti-Russian sanctions list by 23 positions.
The UK has imposed sanctions against 22 individuals and one organization. This was announced on July 18 on the website of the British government.
Restrictions were imposed on the African Initiative news agency.
It is noted that in addition to the organization itself, restrictions were imposed on editor-in-chief Artem Kureev, his deputy Anna Zamaraeva, as well as the head of the agency's representative office in Burkina Faso, Viktor Lukovenko.
On June 17, the United Kingdom expanded the anti-Russian sanctions list, adding 10 individuals and 20 vessels allegedly linked to the Russian Federation. In particular, two citizens of the Russian Federation, a citizen of Ukraine, and a citizen of Poland were sanctioned.
