Bypass road repairs completed in Severomorsk

The bypass road connecting the capital of the Northern Fleet with the federal highway R-21 Kola has been repaired in the city of Severomorsk in the Murmansk Region. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Management.

The work was carried out on the site from the 1st to the 4th km. Road workers have restored more than 12,000 square meters of asphalt, reinforced roadsides and applied markings.

According to Bi-port news agency, the laboratory's specialists are currently checking the quality of the work performed, including the thickness of the layers laid and the level of water resistance. After that, the segment will be put into operation.

The site was put in order as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

In the spring, it was reported that within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", about 2 thousand km of roads located in the Trans-Baikal Territory are planned to be repaired by 2030.
