The Lada Iskra sedan will cost from 1.25 million rubles in the basic configuration and from 1.58 million rubles in the flagship. This is stated in the message of AVTOVAZ, which was received by Izvestia on July 18.

Lada Iskra sales will start on July 20 in Tolyatti, Moscow and St. Petersburg. Delivery to dealers in other regions is expected within a few weeks. From the beginning of sales, discounts of up to 20% will be available on Iskra under government subsidized lending programs for certain categories of buyers.

"AvtoVAZ fulfilled its promise in terms of the start of sales, and also managed to keep the initial price at about 1.2 million, announced a year ago at the presentation of the car at the SPIEF," Sergey Ilyinsky, Director of Public Relations at AVTOVAZ, told Izvestia.

Lada Iskra will be offered with 1.6 engines: a 90-horsepower version combined with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 106-horsepower version with a 6-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission.

The Iskra sedan in the basic Comfort configuration (from 1.25 million rubles) is equipped with airbags for the driver and front passenger, pre-tensioning and force-limiting belts, a stability control system, anti-slip and assistance when starting on the rise. A telematics service, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a remote-controlled central locking system have been installed. The driver's seat is height-adjustable, and there are rain and light sensors.

In the Life version (starting from 1.32 million rubles), an additional air conditioner appears as part of the equipment, as well as heated front seats and mirrors. The Enjoy version (from 1.44 million rubles) is additionally equipped with heated washer nozzles, a burglar alarm, cruise control, a cooled duffel box, steering wheel adjustment on departure, as well as a new-generation Enjoy Evo multimedia system with Yandex online services and built-in Internet access.

The top version of Techno will cost from 1.58 million rubles. Heated rear seats, steering wheel and windscreen, parking sensors, rear-view camera and fog lights with turn illumination have been added to the list of equipment.

On June 11, it was reported that Lada Iskra received the highest score based on the results of crash tests conducted according to the standards of the ARCAP methodology developed by experts of the Autoreview publication. This is a more stringent standard than that provided for by certification tests in accordance with the requirements of Russian legislation.
