Austrian athlete Baumgartner died in a fall from a paraglider in Italy

Austrian extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner died in a paragliding accident near the Adriatic coast in Italy. This was reported by the Courier newspaper on July 17.

"Baumgartner reportedly lost control of his motorized paraglider due to a sudden onset of malaise and fell into the hotel pool," the publication says.
