The condition of the Russian sailor wounded in the Red Sea has improved
Russian sailor Alexei Galaktionov, who was injured in an attack by the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement on the Greek cargo ship Eternity C in the Red Sea, is on the mend. This was announced on July 17 by a senior source in the Houthi government's Foreign Ministry.
"He [Galaktionov] and several other people were rescued by the Yemeni navy. A Russian sailor was injured and is still undergoing medical treatment in Yemen. Now his health has improved significantly," he told RIA Novosti.
On July 8, the ERT TV channel reported two wounded as a result of the attack on Eternity C. One of them turned out to be a Russian citizen who had a limb amputated. It was clarified that three people died as a result of the incident, two of whom were found in the engine room.
