Two people were killed in a tractor accident in Karachay-Cherkessia. This was announced on July 17 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

It is specified that on the federal highway Lermontov – Cherkessk, a 30-year-old Lada Priora driver collided with an MTZ tractor, which was driven by a 58-year-old man. Then the car drove into the oncoming lane, where it collided with another Lada Priora car.

"As a result of the incident, the 30-year-old driver who caused the collision was taken to a medical facility. His passenger, a 30-year—old resident of the Khabezsky district, and the tractor driver died at the scene before the ambulance arrived," a message posted on the Telegram channel said.

At the moment, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
