The court sentenced the former deputy head of the main Directorate of Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Vladimir Shesterov, to six years in prison in the case of embezzlement of funds from the department and the Patriot Park. This was announced on July 17 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

It is clarified that the court also stripped Shesterov of the rank of general and state awards. He was taken into custody in the courtroom.
