The military of the Russian Armed Forces told about the flight of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants during the liberation of Novokhatsky

The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) abandoned their positions during the liberation by the Russian Armed Forces of the settlement of Novokhatskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Russian servicemen told Izvestia about this on July 17.

"An ordinary house. They went into the yard, a grenade, went in, cleaned up. When you walk close, they run. <...>Also let's go, house by house. There is no battle as such. (Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters. — Ed.) we heard shooting at the beginning of the street, in the middle (of the village. — Ed.) everyone is already sitting in the basements," said a soldier of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign Bada.

He noted that the Russian military found abandoned helmets and armor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters, as well as grenades manufactured by NATO countries, in the basements of houses in the liberated settlement.

"That period was easier than it is now. They're using drones now, and they mostly use drones. — Ed.). They mostly run," said a fighter of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign Kalash.

Military units of the Russian Armed Forces are successfully moving forward, improving their tactical positions in the Yuzhnodonets direction.

The stormtroopers were supported by tanks with non-standard drone protection.

On July 16, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that units of the Vostok group of forces had liberated the village of Novokhatskoye in the DPR. It was clarified that Russian military personnel attacked the manpower and equipment of three mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a marine brigade.
