FPV drone operators destroyed an armored vehicle and a field gun of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The operators of the FPV drones of the Tula Guards Airborne Unit destroyed armored vehicles with personnel and a field gun of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Sumy region. On July 17, the Ministry of Defense showed footage of the work of Russian Armed Forces soldiers.

The ministry clarified that an armored vehicle with Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, which was en route to its forward positions, was discovered near the border by reconnaissance UAV operators. Then these data were promptly transmitted to the calculation of the strike drone, which destroyed the target, thereby disrupting the rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the line of combat contact.

Later, a field artillery cannon concealed in a forest plantation was disabled and destroyed by precise hits, the Defense Ministry added.

It is noted that operators of FPV drones of the Tula Guards Airborne unit destroy dozens of pieces of equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region every day, disrupting the logistics of the enemy and thereby assisting the advanced units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in expanding the security zone near the border with Russia.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported a day earlier, on July 16, that the operators of the FPV drones of the North group of forces destroyed two heavy copters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, resorting to ramming in the air. It is specified that the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces are on duty in the sky around the clock and destroy enemy drones in a special operation.
