The fifth stage of the embankment construction starts in Khabarovsk
The fourth stage of construction of the embankment in the yacht club area is being completed in Khabarovsk, and the fifth stage is starting in parallel. This was announced by the press service of the governor and the government of the region on Wednesday, July 16.
According to Alexey Kolevatykh, Acting Deputy Chairman of the regional government for Construction, work on the facility is underway around the clock. As part of the fourth stage, the contractor is already completing dredging operations that will allow ships to approach the berthing area.
"The contractor has delayed these works and now we are speeding up the deadlines in every possible way. If earlier the target date for the commissioning of this stage was September 1, then we have formed a schedule with the contractor until August 1," said Kolevatykh.
The fifth stage of construction starts in parallel. It includes the territory from the River Station to the Vodokanal facilities. A quiet recreation area, a performance area, running and cycling paths, and parking will appear on the site, IA AmurMedia writes.
The construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026. After all the stages are completed, a pump track, exercise equipment, outdoor chess, and a workout area will be installed on the embankment.
