Seven car companies changed the prices of cars in Russia in early July

During the period from July 1 to July 15 of this year, prices for new cars have changed for seven brands officially represented on the Russian market. On July 16, the analytical agency "Autostat" reported.

Only one brand of car has gone up in price. The domestic Moskvich raised prices for the 2025 crossover by 48 thousand rubles (plus 2.4–2.7%).

Eight out of ten models have become cheaper at Haval — the Jolion crossover, M6, Dargo and Dargo X, F7x and F7, as well as the H5 and H9 SUVs. The latter marked the highest decrease — by 200-400 thousand rubles (minus 4.8–9.9% and minus 3.9–8.2%, respectively). Jolion, which is the bestseller in the SUV segment, lost 150-200 thousand in price (minus 6.8–8.2%).

Chery has reduced prices for three models — Tiggo 4, Tiggo 7L and Tiggo 8 Pro Max crossovers. The last one (produced in 2025) became cheaper by 280-380 thousand rubles at once (minus 7.2–10.5%). The 400 and 700 models have become cheaper for the Tank brand. In the Premium configuration, the Tank 700s released in 2025 lost 300 thousand rubles (-3.1%) in price, and the 2024 machines lost 600 thousand rubles (-6.3%).

The Wey 07 crossover and the 80 minivan fell in price, the latter, depending on the version, lost 200-700 thousand rubles in price (minus 2.7–8%). In addition, Great Wall Motor has reduced prices for the four–wheel drive Poer pickup truck by 100,000 rubles (minus 2.4–2.6%), while Omoda's all-wheel drive versions of the C5 crossover have become cheaper than 150,000 rubles (minus 4.5-5.2%).

On July 15, it was reported that the chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Protection of Competition, Valery Hartung, proposed to impose duties on Chinese car companies as a measure to support domestic automakers, as well as to increase the recycling fee for cars.
