Putin appoints Sergei Ganzha as Russia's Ambassador to Singapore
Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Sergei Ganzha as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Singapore. The relevant decree was published on July 15 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
"Appoint Sergei Pavlovich Ganzha as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Singapore," the document says.
By another decree, Nikolai Kudashev was dismissed from the post of ambassador to Singapore.
Sergei Ganzha was born in 1960, graduated from MGIMO in 1982 and has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since that time. He has experience working in the central office of the Ministry and abroad. He was an adviser to the Russian Embassy in Austria, Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Consul General of Russia in Hamburg. Since 2013, he has been the head of the Security Department of the Russian diplomatic agency.
On July 7, it was reported that Dmitry Potapov was appointed Consul General of Russia in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Potapov was born in 1968. In 1995, he graduated from MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, speaks English and Portuguese. Since December 2015, he has held the diplomatic rank of Adviser of the 1st class.
