Sergei Genin, a firefighter convicted of negligence in extinguishing a fire at the Winter Cherry shopping center in Kemerovo, died after a serious illness. This was reported to TASS by his entourage on July 15.
The fire in the Winter Cherry shopping center occurred on March 25, 2018. As a result, 60 people died, 37 of whom were children.
