Recall of Titan container semi-trailers announced in Russia

The official representative of the Titan brand in the Russian market has announced a recall campaign for container semi-trailers. This was reported by the press service of Rosstandart.

The service campaign involves nine Titan226C4B container semi-trailers, which were sold between June 5 and June 11, 2024. The reason for the recall is the risk of damage to the plastic tubes for the braking system, which may cause failure or incorrect operation of the trailer's braking systems.

The recalled container semi-trailers will be checked for damage to plastic pipes or the risks of their occurrence. If a malfunction is detected, specialists will replace the parts.

If there is a risk of damage in the future, the installation method of the plastic tube with additional protection will be changed on semi-trailers. The manufacturer will inform the owners of the semi-trailers about the recall, and the service work will be free of charge for them.
