The political scientist pointed out that the West was hiding the facts of Ukraine's defeat from Trump.

Ukraine is losing in the conflict, but Western states hide this fact from American leader Donald Trump and spread false information. This was announced on July 15 in an interview with Izvestia by political scientist, retired Lieutenant Colonel Earl Rasmussen of the American Army.

According to the expert, the Ukrainian intelligence service transmits false information to the White House administration, and the US president believes them and does not see what is really happening.

"They're just lying to us. Ukrainian intelligence is providing false information, and unfortunately, Trump is being fed the same false information. He doesn't see the real picture. Russia is winning, and he doesn't like to lose. No president likes to admit defeat," the political scientist said.

In addition, Rasmussen said that military personnel from some Western countries are already present on Ukrainian territory, but the authorities of these states do not recognize their defeat and the failure of the "Ukraine Project". In his opinion, Western anti-Russian sanctions are returning like a boomerang.

He noted that now Russian President Vladimir Putin is being asked to abandon his key interests. The expert added that the situation in the world has changed and the prolongation of negotiations by the Ukrainian side and its Western sponsors will lead to the loss of new regions by Ukraine.
