The Russian military of the 1465th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Southern Group of Forces showed the trophy they received during the liberation of Petrovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The July 15 footage is published by Izvestia.

"Our task was to move out and land the group. Our guys had to go to the assault — we covered them, we worked. We changed positions, we have a good driver. I'm the gunner. Everything worked smoothly. We work out from one position and move to another. Our neighbors helped us from the flanks," an APC gunner with the call sign Cherny told Izvestia.

Near the village of Petrovka, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces spotted an armored vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The deputy commander for the technical part of the 2nd battalion with the call sign Major said that the mechanism of the AFU vehicle was damaged by a Russian drone. The 2005 armored car was handed over to Ukraine by the United Kingdom.

"A 2005 car, assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the UK. It is fully armored and has already been tested, having withstood several hits, and is already in the hands of our fighters <...>. It remains to be repaired and put back into service," said Alexander Safiulin, a correspondent for Izvestia.

On July 15, a Russian soldier with the call sign Motyra said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were running away from Russian troops during the liberation of the village of Malinovka in the Zaporizhia region. According to him, one of the soldiers of his company ran into the dugout, where there were four soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and eliminated two of them. Terrified, the surviving Ukrainian militants began to flee.
