The winners of the International Chemistry Olympiad returned to Russia from the UAE
The winners of the International Chemistry Olympiad returned from Dubai to Russia. The relevant footage is published by Izvestia on July 14.
The students, who won four gold medals, shared their impressions of the Olympics.
"The Olympiad was a success. Four gold medals is a high level. <...> It felt like we were all four people for the whole of Russia, we had to be united and maintain the team spirit as best we could, although it didn't always work out, of course," said Konstantin Gunko, one of the winners.
The participants also noted that they had no doubts about their success, as Russia has always held leading positions in chemistry and other scientific disciplines Olympiads.
The day before, four Russian schoolchildren won gold medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad, which was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was noted that Fyodor Kuznetsov scored 86.7 points out of a possible 100, Viktor Demidov — 85.3, Vladimir Elistratov — 81.7, and Konstantin Gunko — 76.7.
